Council appoints interim borough manager following executive session

PA MILTON — Milton Borough Council appoints interim borough manager following personnel matter. At its December 10 meeting, Council appointed Chief of Police Curt Zettlemoyer as interim borough manager until January 5, 2026. The council also adopted the 2026 Tax Ordinance 1264, approved an easement request from the Milton Revitalization and Swiftwater Alliance for the East End Project, reappointed Linwood Hill and Bryan McCaffery to the Zoning Hearing Board for three-year terms, and approved bills totaling $105,685.43.

Code Enforcement Officer Alec Klingler reported 231 violation notices generating $14,250 in fines, while the police department responded to 100 fewer calls than the prior year due to staffing challenges.
